This is easy, simply deposit 10% of the fee into BSB 064-087 Account number 10185870 in the name of 100 Percent Kokoda referencing your name and the month of the trek. We can do card transactions, but these have a 2% bank fee. Noting how much you are paying for this trek, the fee can be excessive, hence we guide people to the bank transfer.
You sure do! We send you a welcome pack that contains a hat, shirt, a bag of nutrition to use in training or on the track plus all of the administration and information you require to be ready to trek.
No worries! If you change your mind just let us know, as long as its prior to six weeks before your trek we reimburse your money. If its within six weeks, you can transfer it to another trek with 12 months.

We provide you a location to wash each day. Each campsite has either a river or shower for you to wash prior to dinner and bed.
Whilst you don't need to be an athlete you will need a level of fitness and prepare for this journey. We are able to and willing to help you prepare for your adventure.
Whilst there is, they are not as prevalent as you would think. We show you how to prevent these and help you in the unlikely event that you have one.
Much like the ticks and leeches, there are mosquitoes. They are not in the swarms that you possibly think they are. Your tent has a mozzie net, we use repellant and wear long clothes at night to prevent stings.
These vary from village to village. Some are holes in the ground and others are a toilet tub that you are able to sit on. You are in the jungle so we ask you to remain a little open minded.
We have a cook that prepares all meals for you. You will eat carbohydrate heavy food to give you the nutrition that you require to be fuelled for trekking. You will have cereals and some hot items for breakfast, morning tea, lunch is a mix of fresh fruits (where available from the track), the cooks make rice paper rolls, sushi and buns, afternoon tea and for dinner is a mixm, but there is a pizza/ pasta night, they make cakes and we can cater for vegans, vegetarians and any intolerance you may have (we have mastered the menu for celiacs).
We carry so much food that our General Porters are only able to carry half of it. We transport the remaining food to a village in the middle of the track, you will be well fed. There is so much food, we have had some people put weight on!
In short no, but there needs to be a realistic appreciation of what you are undertaking. You will be the best person to decide on maturity of a child or physicality of someone older. Its best to call and discuss.
This varies from trek to trek. We have a minimum of five and a maximum of 22. We work on a magic number of 12 as we have found that this is most enjoyable for all.

For new bookings made after October 2020, we maintain an open line of communication with you. We will contact you seven weeks prior to the date of your trek to make sure that you are happy to progress your booking. As mentioned, you are entitled to a full refund on all monies spent up to six weeks prior to the date of travel which is when we invest your money for bookings for your trek. If you cancel within this period, we get travel credits that we can transfer for you to another trek within a 12-month period.
For bookings made after October 2020, if you are unable to travel due to a COVID restrictions, contact or contraction you get a 100% refund on all monies should you not wish to transfer your money to another trek.
